Fibre Cabling

Fibre cabling is a robust way for connecting multiple buildings, comms rooms and office floors together. With CAT5 and CAT6 cabling limited to 100m runs, the use of fibre can overcome this limitation and have runs in excess of 1km and can enable data transfer of up to 10 gbit per pair of fibres.

This cost effective and versatile medium can come is multi-core variants to enable you to have 'spare' pairs ready for any future growth or increase bandwidth requirements that may arise.

The combination of high throughput, possible use for long runs and low cost compared to copper cabling makes fibre the obvious choice when it comes to connecting up multiple buildings on a site or creating a high bandwidth backbone between comms rooms.
